The Angel of the North was voted the second most disappointing day out in an online poll. Armed with only her kiosk and her wits, Pamela Frisbee sets about restoring the sculpture’s tarnished reputation. But it will take more than good intentions and an over-priced Jaffa Cake to help hapless sightseer Alan with his stroppy teenage step-daughter.
